Hyaluronidase has been used safely in medicine for decades, and reactions are rare. One important exception: because it's the same enzyme found in bee and wasp venom, anyone with a known allergy to bee or wasp stings should not receive it, due to the risk of cross-sensitivity. This is exactly why we review your health and allergy history carefully before treating.

Quickly, though the area may look swollen or a little uneven at first. Hyaluronidase begins breaking down the filler within hours, and things settle over the following days. Some areas may need a follow-up to fully refine.

Yes, once the area has fully settled, usually about two weeks later. Many patients dissolve to reset, then re-treat with a more conservative, anatomy-based approach for a natural result.

There's little true downtime, but the area often looks worse before it looks better for a few days. Swelling, tenderness, bruising, and some temporary unevenness or asymmetry are normal as the filler breaks down, and swelling can peak around 24 hours before settling. Avoid exercise, sweating, heat, and alcohol for the first 24 hours, protect the area from sun, and hold off on facials, lasers, or other injectables in the same area for about two weeks. Lips tend to swell more and may take several days to settle.
