What Makes It Different

PRP is the only finish made from you. Nothing is added; it is your own platelets, concentrated, drawn and prepared by our nurse, and it is the most-studied finish on this menu for improving the look of acne scarring and skin firmness over a series.

We then complete every treatment with a professional finishing serum chosen for your goals, so skin leaves looking calm, hydrated, and luminous.

Because the finish is Korean. Korean clinics perfected the ritual of layering a professional serum onto freshly microneedled skin, and that is where the glass-skin look comes from. The serums we use, PDRN (salmon DNA) and exosomes, are made in South Korea by one of the most researched programs in the world: more than thirty years of research and over 1.7 million treatments. The microneedling itself is performed here in Stouffville by our nurse, with the Dp4™.

Expect an early glow within the first week as your skin settles and rehydrates. The deeper change builds over the following weeks as new collagen forms, and results continue to improve for up to three months, compounding with each session in your series.

For most people, 3–4 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Depending on the concerns we're tackling, sometimes 5 or 6 are needed. We'll map out your series at your consultation.

Well-tolerated: we numb the skin for comfort. Afterward, expect redness, warmth, and sensitivity like a light sunburn for the first 24–48 hours, settling steadily from there. You may notice light flaking of the applied serum. That's the product, not your skin peeling. Your finishing serum stays on: put nothing on the skin and do not wash it until the next morning, then cleanse gently and start the hyaluronic serum we send you home with. No makeup, heat or exercise on day one; mineral SPF 30+ from the next morning, and out of direct sun for the first week. You'll go home with full aftercare instructions.

Yes, microneedling is one of the safest collagen-building treatments across all skin tones. Because it works mechanically, with no heat or acids, the pigmentation risk that can come with some lasers and peels is far lower. Depth and technique are still tailored to your skin and concerns at your consultation.
