Most treatments are comfortable with no numbing required. The patented 650-microsecond technology minimizes heat and surface damage, so there's virtually no downtime. Most people return to their day right away. Depending on the treatment, mild redness or warmth may appear for a day or so. Afterward, keep heat, strenuous exercise, and active skincare off the skin for 48 hours, and daily SPF 30+ is non-negotiable, as sun protection is the most important part of laser aftercare.
It depends on the concern. Redness, acne, and vascular concerns often begin responding within the first session or two, while collagen-driven changes (rejuvenation, scar revision, tightening) build gradually over your series, with improvement continuing for weeks after each session. Pigmented spots may briefly darken before they fade; that's the treatment working.
Yes, year-round. Most lasers can't safely treat tanned skin, forcing treatments into a fall-and-winter calendar. The Neo Elite® safely treats all skin tones, including tanned skin, so summer sessions aren't a problem. We simply ask you to stay diligent with SPF 30+ and skip deliberate tanning while your skin heals.
